I built Pagecord as a way for people to publish their writing online with the lowest barrier to entry possible: email.

I launched it earlier this year as a proof of concept that took a few days. I then made it paid-only, which was a bad move!

Since then I've added a bunch of features, open-sourced the code (https://github.com/lylo/pagecord) and today I've made it freemium once again.

My plan is to build a community around it as an open source, not-for-profit community-owned product that has build-in longevity. First though, I'll need to get more people using it!
