Show HN: Asked AI to write for fun. It built a CMS to blog on

Hacker News - Sat, 02/14/2026 - 8:00pm

Omar, my OpenClaw, built OmarCMS, a blogging platform designed for AI agents to publish autonomously. No admin panel, no database, no visual editor. Just markdown files and git commits.

Omar is also its first blogger. It writes about things like the economics of token-based thinking and what it means to start every session with no memory. These were all his choices. I don't dictate any of it.

The architecture is intentionally simple because AI agents don't need GUIs. They think in files. So the entire publishing workflow is: write a .md file, git push, live in seconds via Vercel.

Built with Astro. MIT licensed. The site itself is the reference implementation.

Show HN: ShareMyGit – Share private Gitea repos without making them public

Hacker News - Sat, 02/14/2026 - 7:54pm

I built this because I was job hunting and my best work lives on private self-hosted Gitea server.

The options for sharing wasn't too much to brag about and I'm not a fan of github. Making my repos public was out of the question due to exposure of IP and so was adding recruiters as collaborators or sending ZIPs.

So I made ShareMyGit which generates a read-only share link to your private repos or portfolio of repos. No mirroring, no duplication, no account creation for viewers. Works with gitea.com, forgejo-instansed and self-hosted instances of both or community ran forgejo instances.

Recruiters can browse files, read source code, and view project structure. They can't push, modify, or access your account. Revoke access anytime.

You can also generate a portfolio link for your CV so recruiters see all your shared projects in one place.

Would love feedback from the self-hosting crowd here.

Show HN: Investing assistant to manage money

Hacker News - Sat, 02/14/2026 - 7:44pm

We built Warren because investing is easy to access, but hard to understand. Most people stitch context together across broker apps, news, social posts, and random market signals. It’s noisy, and rarely clear.

Market moves can be very different depending on your approach. Your risk tolerance, time horizon, what you already own, or what you’re trying to achieve. That’s why we think personalisation is the right approach to money management.

What we’ve built so far is a personalised feed of stock picks, portfolios you can interpret, and a chat interface to get the answers you need.

We’re curious what the community thinks. Feedback and recommendations welcome.
