hi, i'll start a PhD in Machine Learning, after 3y in the industry as a backend eng. i know that my decision maybe was not a good idea, looking at the current market, but for the moment i don't have money problem and i got this opportunity , the problem is that i'm still a beginner in machine learning but i'm studying a lot. but i would like to find a mentor, or just someone to text outside my university. do you know if this is possibile ? or where can i find someone willing to guide me a little? thanks for your time.

It's the end of daylight saving time here in the UK and I've just googled how many days until the winter solstice so I can look forward to the point where the days grow longer again.

Google has come up with "In 54 days" and "fifty-five days .... calculated from today's date, which is October 26, 2024" so the AI text has an incorrect start date as well as an incorrect calculation.

Are there articles somewhere of what's happening in the Google search division such that product managers and engineers are pushing stuff like this to production and it's not being rejected?
