It feels like VC-funded/big companies have driven the cost of advertising up, they clearly don't care because they're only interested in growth numbers.

If your product doesn't make you hundreds of dollars, you'll likely end up losing money.

Is it still possible to promote products under $20?

Hi HN,

i have my first sideproject online. It's an automated security tool that checks your it infrastructure, checks CVEs, passwordleaks and misconfigurations based on your domain name.

The first scan of your domain is for free - so you can test it - if you want. All i need is the domain + email (to notify you when the scan is done). It is also possible to scan other domains if you verify them via DNS-record or with a TXT-file.

I'm not a native english speaker. The translation of the website could have flaws. ;)
